The guide search, category filter, and clue finder run in your browser. This build has no account system, comment form, or contact form, and it does not ask you to submit personal information.

Search and printable worksheets

Site search and glossary filtering run in your browser. The site search places your search words in the page URL so that you can bookmark or share the result. A visit or reload of that URL can include those words in the hosting request. Use ordinary pest terms rather than personal information.

Toolkit fields stay in the open page; our worksheet code does not send or save them. Print or save a PDF before leaving if you want to keep a copy. Your browser may retain page state, and downloaded or printed records remain under your control. The separate evidence log saves entries only when you choose Save.

Evidence log on your device

When you choose Save, the evidence log stores cases and dated entries in localStorage on this browser. Existing field notes are moved into separate cases when you first open the new log. Entries and photo filenames are not sent to the publisher, uploaded with photographs, or synced between devices. You can delete entries, download a JSON copy, merge a downloaded copy into the log, and print a case or all cases to paper or PDF. Import reads the selected file in your browser; it does not send its contents to the publisher. Printed and downloaded copies remain under your control. Clearing browser storage removes the saved entries. Planned check dates appear when you reopen the log; the site does not send reminders. Anyone with access to the same browser profile may be able to read the entries; avoid personal or sensitive details.

Advertising and analytics

This build does not include Google AdSense, analytics tags, or other optional tracking scripts. If these are added later, this page must be updated to describe the services and any required notice or consent controls before they go live.

Hosting

Vercel hosts this website and receives network requests, including technical information such as IP addresses and user agents, to deliver and secure pages. See Vercel’s privacy policy for its practices. Field-note text is not included in these requests by our code.

The publisher contact mailbox is being set up. The contact page shows the current status; do not send personal or sensitive information to a placeholder address.
